Itinerary

  • 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Depart from the VietClimb Boulder Gym via private mini-van to Yen Thinh village.
  • 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM: Climb at Head Wall with a family-style lunch at the crag.
  • 5:30 PM: Travel to the homestay (15-minute drive).
  • 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Climbing at Dragon Wall or La Conche, tailored to the group’s skill level, with lunch at the crag.
  • 4:00 PM: Depart to Hanoi, ETA 6:30 PM.

Recently did the huu lung trip with the gym and it was amazing! Such cool crags and climbing. The homestay was so beautiful and the food amazing. Jean was such a great guide through it all, giving us such a rich experience outside the big city and on the walls (even if the limestone kicked my butt).

Great weekend climbing trip to Huu Lung with Jean. The climbing is incredible and the scenery too. On our trip we had the option to lead or top rope. The homestay was a great experience and the food (2 lunches at the crag and 1 dinner at the homestay) was brilliant.

We chose to go with Vietclimb for a two-day climbing weekend. Excellent organization from start to finish, the region is stunning and still untouched by over-tourism. The group dynamic allowed us to climb well despite being beginners outdoors, with the leaders setting up the routes for top-ropers. Special mention: we really appreciated the attention to safety—Jean sees everything!
