About us

VietClimb was created by Jean Verly as an informal group gathering climbers in Northern Vietnam. In 2010, the decision was taken to fill the void of the complete absence of climbing gyms in Hanoi and to set-up the finest climbing gym and the largest climbing community in Vietnam. Follow the VietClimb Page to kept being posted about news, events, holidays.

VietClimb Corporate Social Responsibility

The purpose of the Tac Ke project (“gecko” in Vietnamese) is to determine through a work with different populations how sport and more particularly rock-climbing can be used as an efficient tool of social insertion. Hence, many cooperation are foreseen with various populations like street children, orphans or handicapped children. The first part being setup is the one in orphanages because activity with children living in institutions it is the easiest to implement.
tac ke project
Since January 2011, more than 50 children climb twice a week in Nguyen Viet Xuan orphanage (Cau Giay district) When we gain experience, we will extend the activity to other orphans and street children.

- Tắc Kè project: Rock-climbing for disadvantaged children
